Intrauterine Contraceptive Device

An intrauterine contraceptive device is a time tested and reliable method that has shown its safety and effectiveness in contraception for several years. These small-sized devices are placed inside the uterus (womb) to bar unwanted pregnancies

Commonly, two kinds of devices are available – hormonal and copper. A valid prescription from a doctor is required to get this device inserted which has to be done only by a doctor or a trained nurse.
