Fibroids
Fibroids are noncancerous growths in the uterus. Clinically termed as uterine fibroids, these are often found during childbearing years. Uterine fibroids or myomas or leiomyomas aren’t associated with an elevated risk of uterine cancer and there are no mentioned cases of it developing cancer.
One can find fibroids of various sizes, from the size of a seedling to a bulky mass that results in the enlargement of the uterus. A woman could have a single or multiple fibroids at the same time. There are extreme cases of fibroids growing in the uterus to an extent that they touch the rib cage and result in additional weight.
