I am one of leading female gynaecologist & obstetrician practising in Kolkata. I counsel my patients with empathy and explain to them their medical problems / treatment in a simple and vivid manner.
I provide tender loving care to expectant mothers and help them to achieve motherhood safely. I encourage expectant mothers to undergo vaginal delivery if there is no obstetric contraindications. I excel in surgical skills in caesarean sections, open/ laparoscopic / minimal access surgeries like ovarian cystectomy, tubal ligation, salpingectomyfor ectopic pregnancy, surgeries for endometriosis and endomerioma hysterectomy, with bilateral salpingo- oophorectomyand vaginal hysterectomy with pelvic floor repair. I also provide infertility treatments .
I graduated from Calcutta National Medical College (CNMC) . I was trained in obstetrics and gynaecology right after graduation. I completed my house staff training in obstetrics and gynaecology from CNMC. Thereafter I completed my DGO training from one of the leading teaching hospitals in Kolkata - Chittaranjan Sishu & Seva Sadan (CSSS) and was awarded Diplomate of National Board (obstt & gynae) from National Board of Examinations (New Delhi), I was also awarded Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS) by AMASI , Fellow of International College of Robotic Surgeons & has FOGSI Certified training in infertility.
