Dr. Chetan B

Dr. Chethan B is a Paediatrician and Neonatologist who completed his MBBS at Mysore Medical College and his DCH at the Government Medical College in Bellary. He has extensive experience in handling various pediatric and neonatal emergencies, including critical cases such as dengue fever, malaria, viral encephalitis, and other life-threatening infections and conditions.

After completing his DCH, Dr. Chethan moved to Manipal Hospital in Bangalore, known for its academic excellence, for DNB training in Pediatrics and Neonatology. He then pursued a fellowship in Neonatology at a renowned institute in Bangalore. He worked under prominent figures in Neonatology for four years as an Associate Consultant and Consultant in various neonatal units before relocating to Mysore.

Dr. Chethan B has been working as a Consultant Neonatologist in Mysore and began his career at Motherhood in 2022. He has extensive experience in managing Level 3 and 4 neonatal units in Bangalore as well as Mysore. He is well-trained in NICU procedures and proficient in handling extreme preterm babies and sick infants requiring ventilation, HFO, iNO, and therapeutic cooling.

Dr. Chethan B has led infection control programs and takes a special interest in training nurses and residents. He has experience running high-risk newborn follow-up clinics, developmental pediatrics clinics, and general pediatrics. With 12 years of experience in general pediatrics, he manages pediatric infections, vaccinations, respiratory illnesses, and issues related to growth and development. Dr. Chethan B has also published articles and presented papers at various national conferences.
