Dr. Anish Pillai is an exemplar of expertise and commitment in the field of Neonatal and Pediatric care. With over 15 years’ experience, Dr. Anish Pillai is serving as the Lead Consultant- Pediatrics and Neonatology at Motherhood Hospitals, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. Dr. Anish Pillai has completed his medical training at premier institutes in Mumbai, Kerala, and Vancouver. With the dual qualification of a Doctorate in Neonatology (DrNB, India) and a 3-year University Fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine from Canada, Dr. Anish Pillai is an elite, sought-after neonatologist in the country.

Dr. Anish Pillai's areas of expertise include the management of extremely premature infants, babies needing ventilator support, postnatal growth restriction, and neurodevelopmental follow-up. Dr. Anish Pillai has many international publications to his credit and has authored chapters in popular textbooks. Dr. Anish Pillai is a regular faculty at various national and international academic conferences and research meetings. Dr. Anish Pillai has conducted pan-India workshops on neonatal ventilation, neonatal nutrition, perinatology, and neonatal office practice. Dr. Anish Pillai is an eminent teacher and mentor for many Pediatricians and Neonatology trainees across India.

Achievements:

Dr. Anish Pillai has an illustrious academic journey including the gold medal at the MD Pediatrics and Neonatology fellowship exams. He was presented the Laura McRae Award for best Subspecialty Trainee at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver. Dr. Anish Pillai has been the récipient of various awards for neonatal research, as well as many research grants. Dr. Anish Pillai holds the position of Executive Board member of the National Neonatology Forum (NNF), Maharashtra state. Dr. Anish Pillai is an Affiliate Investigator at the British Columbia Children’s Hospital Research Institute (BCCHRI), in Vancouver, Canada. Dr. Anish Pillai is a teacher and research guide in Neonatology for the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi (DNB), and for fellowship programs under the National Neonatology Forum and Indian Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Anish Pillai is a national and international trainer for the advanced neonatal resuscitation program (NRP). Dr. Anish Pillai has multiple publications in international peer-reviewed journals and has authored many chapters in various neonatal textbooks.
