NARCHI is a registered professional People’s Voluntary Organisation (Registration No. S/15777 of 1974- 75 in West Bengal Act. XXVI of 1961) founded in 1975 with 30 branches all over India.

NARCHI – ICMCH courses are not considered for recognition by Medical Council of India (MCI). NARCHI is a member of the PMNCH (Partnership for Maternal, Newborn & Child Health) which is hosted by World Health Organisation (WHO).

Write-up on RCOG training program:
RCOG (Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology) training program is a rigorous four year training program to enable Indian doctors to qualify for the RCOG exam for MRCOG (Member of RCOG).
RCOG qualified faculty train and teach the candidates as per the curriculum prescribed RCOG. Candidates are expected to maintain a logbook of the procedures performed and assisted by them.
The candidates have the option of continuing for at least two more years after completion of their training.
Stipend is paid for the duration of the training. Accommodation and logistics have to be arranged by candidates themselves.
